7nt Family Ski Escape: Spend the School Holidays in a Stunning Snowy Village ❄️

This Crystal Ski holiday for four caught our eye straight away. Seven nights at Premium Residence Arc 1950 Le Village, departing Bristol on 13 February (other options available), puts you right in the heart of one of the Alps’ most picturesque and family-friendly ski villages. For a school-holiday week including flights, checked luggage and transfers the price is particularly appealing too, especially when compared with what we're seeing elsewhere in the Alps with much less for your money.

Arc 1950 is a huge part of the appeal. The village itself is stunning, and the ski-in, ski-out setting means you can step straight out onto the slopes (you can even ski through the village itself!). The 4-star residence has an impressive range of amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub and an onsite spa , while there’s a great choice of restaurants and bars right in the village. Younger guests can also head to Yeti Camp, with activities such as igloo building and sled racing to keep them entertained away from the slopes. The accommodation is also rated 4.2/5 on TripAdvisor, giving it a solid track record alongside its fantastic setting.

The accommodation also comes with a full kitchen, giving families the flexibility to cook when they fancy it or head out and try some of the restaurants in the village. When it’s time to ski, you’ll have the huge Paradiski area on your doorstep, with around 425km of slopes across a range of abilities.

A couple of things worth knowing: ski equipment can be hired locally if needed and Crystal Ski currently has a buy-one-get-one-free offer on ski passes, which could make an already attractive school-holiday price even more appealing.

With the setting, ski-in, ski-out access, family-friendly facilities and one of the Alps’ largest ski areas all coming together, we think this is a particularly good option for families wanting a proper week in the mountains without the school-holiday price tag getting completely out of hand.
